The stars watch keenly over their urban reflections called the city lights, In the distance, the dark mountain stands still, There is a stark contrast of a dark mountain- to a sky with stars and lit up flights, The dead trees cry leaves on the edge of the mountain, The mountain with hanging rocks that vow to kill, Rocks fall rippling waves through water, The perennial stream flows in its regular direction carrying the rocks, Slowly, waterflow scrapes the rock into a mere dissolving sand powder, The minerals from the rocks’ demise lead to some unadaptable fishes’ slaughter, The fish were un-evolving, afraid of change, Afraid to let go, Scorned in their last living moments while other fishes lived in adaptability to life’s expansive range. Change- as seen in a ticking clock and a beating heart, It can be responded to wisely but unnerves everyone at the start.
